Members of the group SHINee sent a tribute to ASTRO‘s Moonbin, bringing tears to the eyes of fans.
On April 21st, Key left a comment on Moonbin’s last Instagram post, saying, “I can’t sleep even more now after saying final goodbye with the hope that you go to a good place. I sincerely hope you’re really happy.”
Key continued, “Thank you so much for leaving behind a lot of records of the past. The people left behind will be able to live their lives looking forward to the day when they cry and laugh with those memories and smile brightly. You’ve worked hard. Really. And I’m sorry I didn’t know”.
On April 20th, Taemin expressed his deep condolences on his Instagram story, saying, “I remember how you shined on stage. I hope you will be happy there, just as you always shined.”
SHINee members once were deeply saddened when member Jonghyun passed away in 2017. Therefore, Key and Taemin’s comforting of Moonbin’s pain is even sadder.
Previously, Moonbin was found dead at his home in Gangnam-gu, Seoul at 8:10 pm KST on April 19th. On the 20th, the agency said, “Moonbin suddenly left us and became a star in the sky.”
According to the wishes of his family, his funeral will be held as quietly as possible with only his family, close friends, and company colleagues in attendance. His mortuary has been set up at Asan Hospital in Seoul. His funeral is scheduled for 8:00 am KST on the 22nd.
