Seungri Has Been Booked On More Additional Charges Of Embezzlement
Former BIGBANG member Seungri and former Yuri holdings CEO Yoo In suk (Seungri’s business partner) have both been booked on additional charges.
On April 1st, a press conference of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency was held. Commissioner Won Kyung hwan spoke at the conference and provided explosive updates regarding Seungri’s case.
Police have been investigating Club Monkey Museum, and found that Seungri and Yoo In Suk had both embezzled funds of their club. Thus they have been booked on the additional charge of occupational embezzlement.
The commissioner explains that the embezzled funds amount to tens of millions of won (which approximates to tens of thousands of dollars). The police investigation regarding this case is still ongoing, they’re planning on investigating the specific amount as well as how they were used.
The club in question was established by Seungri and Yoo In Suk back in 2016. The club has been investigated for suspicion of using connections with the police (senior superintendent Yoon).
