Sandara Park expressed her candid thoughts on the contribution of 2NE1 to YG Entertainment.
On the broadcast of SBS PowerFM’s ‘Escape from Two O’Clock Cultwo Show’ on the 16th of February, DJ Kim Tae-gyun, along with guests Brian and Sandara Park, made appearances.
During the show, Sandara Park mentioned the claim by Daesung that 2NE1’s contribution to YG Entertainment is the lowest, saying, “I was shocked. I know he is an entertainer, but at first, I was a bit upset.”
What she’s referring to is a video of a recent appearance BIBGANG’s Daesung made on a YouTube show, in the show, when asked to pick among four choices who contributed the least to YG, he chose 2NE1. The other choices were Teddy, Jinusean and BLACKPINK.
When asked about 2NE1’s contribution to YG, Sandara Park humorously replied, “I alone might have built the YG building elevator.” She added confidently, “2NE1 probably built at least one floor of the building.”
She further explained, “At first, I was upset, but I got over it. BIGBANG and 2NE1 are like siblings,” providing clarification.
