IU is the perfect all-around entertainer; she’s an excellent actress, an amazing singer and great at variety shows as well.
IU has had quite the eventful year, earlier this year she came back with tvN drama “Hotel Del Luna.” The drama was a huge success, it achieved amazing ratings and became one of the highest-rated tvN dramas of 2019 and one of the highest-rated cable dramas overall.
Just when we thought IU would slow down, she proved us otherwise, back in October she began teasing for her comeback. IU initially debuted as a singer but later debuted as an actress, she managed to gain love and critical acclaim for her work in both areas.
While the initial release date of her album was delayed, it eventually dropped on November 18 to great reception by both domestic and international fans, proving that everything IU touches turns to gold.
The new mini-album “Love Poem” featuring the title track “Blueming” was released at 6 p.m. KST. The title track was co-composed and co-written by IU herself proving just how talented she is.

By 9 p.m. KST, the song had already taken No. 1 on all five major realtime charts: Melon, Bugs, Genie, Soribada, and FLO, this means that she managed to achieve a realtime all-kill. The rest of the tracks from her album are also doing well on realtime charts too.
