Spire Entertainment, the former agency of OMEGA X, has come out with a shocking claim, they claimed member Hwichan sexually harassed Former CEO Kang Seung Hee, but the members agency has since denied the accusations.

On March 19, Spire Entertainment’s chairman Hwang Sungwoo held a press conference and released CCTV footage showing Hwichan allegedly sexually harassing CEO Kang Seung Hee. The footage included scenes of Hwichan removing Kang Seung Hee’s upper garment and making coercive physical contact.
Hwang Sungwoo stated, “I have suffered for a year from unverified claims. CEO Kang Seung Hee complained of mental distress and attempted extreme measures.”

OMEGA X had previously exposed Kang Seung Hee’s verbal abuse, physical violence, and sexual harassment during a press conference in November 2022. Their legal representative, Lawyer Seo Jooyeon, had stated, “If a woman had been subjected to such actions, it would have been considered a serious crime.”
She also mentioned that while the lawsuit for obstruction of business due to the termination of the exclusive contract had been dropped, investigations were ongoing for sexual harassment and defamation against Kang Seung Hee.
After the shocking press conference where the footage was shown, OMEGA X’s current agency IPQ revealed they’re preparing their stance on the forced sexual harassment video involving Hwichan. A key official from IPQ told Ten Asia, “The video of Hwichan sexually harassing Kang Seung Hee is completely false.”
The official continued, demanding the full video be released by Spire Entertainment and stating that Kang Seung Hee had continuously demanded expressions of affection from the members. They also mentioned that verbal abuse, physical violence, and sexual harassment were indeed present, as previously stated a year ago.
Furthermore, they claimed that the footage showing Hwichan touching Kang Seung Hee’s chest was manipulated and that Kang Seung Hee had actually demanded expressions of affection from Hwichan, turning the act into a coercive one.
Lastly, they stated that the allegation is not just from the perspective of the members and that they are preparing related evidence to support their claims, including recordings and conversations where affection was continuously demanded.
