NCT‘s Taeyong will be enlisting in the military.
On the 18th of March, Taeyong’s agency SM Entertainment announced, “Taeyong will be enlisting in the Navy on April 15th.”
They continued, “There will be no official event on the day of his enlistment, and he will be entering privately to prevent any safety accidents due to overcrowding.”
The agency also added, “We ask for continued love and support for Taeyong as he fulfills his duty to the country and returns healthy.”
With this, Taeyong becomes the first member of NCT to fulfill his military duty. Taeyong, born in 1995, is part of the ‘oldest hyung line’ in the team along with Taeil, who is born in 1994. Taeil is also expected to enlist soon.
In February, Taeyong made a comeback with his second solo album ‘TAP’.
