It has been reported that the members of the group BTS, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, will all enlist in the military in mid-December!
On the 29th of November, Star News reported that RM and V will enlist in a training center located in the rear on December 11th, while Jimin and Jungkook will enter the front-line military training camp on the 12th of December.
Regarding this, their agency, Big Hit Music, stated that they cannot confirm the news.
Recently, Big Hit Music announced, “RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have started the procedures for military service, and we will inform you of further news regarding their enlistment as it is determined.”
On the day the news of Jungkook’s enlistment was announced, he expressed his thoughts through the fan community platform Weverse, saying, “It would be cautious to just blindly ask you to wait for me while I serve in the military. 1 year and 6 months is a long time. So, although it may sound selfish, I promise that I will come back and stand on the stage as a person who has grown in the place where I always was.”
With this, all the members of BTS will enter the military service. If RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook all enlist in December, it is expected that they will be able to reunite as a complete group around mid-2025, as they have promised.
Meanwhile, Jin enlisted in December last year, J-Hope in April this year, and Suga in September, fulfilling their duty to national defense.
