After the shocking reports of G-Dragon shaving his entire body to avoid drugs detection were circulated, his lawyer has released an official statement addressing the accusations.
G-Dragon’s lawyer, Kim Soo-hyun from the law firm Kwon Chamber, stated, “The reports claiming that G-Dragon shaved his entire body are clearly false information,” and expressed his displeasure by saying, “The police jumped to conclusions and used expressions that suggest G-Dragon attempted to destroy evidence to hide his alleged crime, seriously damaging his reputation.”
Previously, media outlets reported that G-Dragon shaved his entire body except for his hair and eyebrows, and the police suspected that this act was an attempt to destroy evidence.
On the other hand, G-Dragon’s side emphasized that the reports claiming he shaved his entire body are clearly false, and that he has been shaving regularly even before the investigation was reported, and has not shaved since the investigation was made public.
G-Dragon’s side also refuted the claims that he dyed or bleached his hair.

Today, it was reported that G-Dragon (Kwon Ji Yong) shaved his head and removed all body hair in an alleged attempt to destroy evidence before the investigation. However, the report stating that he shaved his entire body is a clear falsehood.
Furthermore, this case was rejected by the court due to insufficient evidence, and no search and seizure warrant regarding hair or other bodily samples has been issued. Despite this, Kwon Ji Yong has voluntarily cooperated with the investigation, quickly revealing the truth and resolving any suspicions by providing urine and hair samples, as well as voluntarily submitting his fingernails and toenails for examination. He also clearly stated his willingness to provide additional leg hair, as requested by the police.
It was reported by the police as if Kwon Ji Yong had removed his hair with the intention of destroying evidence, but Kwon Ji Yong maintained hair long enough for analysis, and the hair was arbitrarily submitted to the police in the number requested. Despite the fact that Kwon Ji Yong stated clearly during his voluntary attendance that he did not dye or bleach his hair, it was reported that “Hair length can determine drug use within a year, but frequent dyeing or bleaching, as in Kwon’s case, can reduce the presence of drug substances.” However, Kwon Ji Yong has not dyed or bleached his hair in the past 1 year and 5 months.

Therefore, the police’s claim that G-Dragon shaved his entire body to conceal suspicions is a clear falsehood, and the original article that was first reported has also been corrected.
