Singer Hwasa who was reported to the police by a group of parents after her performance at a university festival, has underwent police investigation for it!
It has been confirmed that Hwasa was summoned as a reporting party by the Seoul Seongdong Police Station at the end of last month.
Previously, the Student Parents for Human Rights Protection (SPHRP) filed a criminal complaint against Hwasa for her performance at Sungkyunkwan University’s festival in May, stating that it “caused enough embarrassment and disgust to the public” and accused her of violating the law on obscene performances.
The police are currently reviewing the relevant materials provided by the agency and others to determine whether the controversial performance is subject to criminal punishment.
Hwasa’s side stated, “It is true that she underwent a police investigation, and she cooperated sincerely with the investigation.”
