MAMAMOO’s Hwasa is reportedly set to sign an exclusive contract with P NATION.
According to an exclusive report by Xsportsnews on the 27th of June, Hwasa is in the final stages of discussion for an exclusive contract with P NATION, the agency led by PSY. The report alleges ‘it is virtually confirmed, with only the final review remaining.’
Hwasa’s current agency, RBW, is nearing the end of their contract at the end of June. It is rumored that Hwasa was drawn to P NATION and PSY’s planning capabilities, which can showcase her abilities as a solo artist and provide support.
Hwasa debuted in June 2014 as a member of the group MAMAMOO. She received much love with hit songs like “Mr. Ambiguous,” “Um Oh Ah Yeh,” and “You’re the Best.” In 2019, she made her solo debut with the single “Twit” and solidified her position as a leading female solo artist in South Korea with songs like “Maria” and “Don’t.”
Meanwhile, Hwasa is currently appearing on the tvN variety program “Dance Singer Travelers.”
