Singer Hwasa’s agency announced that they are currently looking into the details regarding the new reports about her recent performance!

On the 4th of October, Hwasa’s agency, P NATION, stated, “We are currently reviewing and verifying the related contents.”

On the 4th, the Seoul Seongdong Police Station revealed that they have decided not to prosecute Hwasa (28, Ahn Hye-yeon), who was reported by the Student and Parent Human Rights Protection Association (Hakinyeon) for the allegations of lewd performance on the 26th of last month.

A police official stated, “We called in the reporter to investigate the situation at the performance and made the decision based on relevant precedents.”

In May of last year, Hwasa performed on the stage of Sungkyunkwan University as part of the tvN program “Dance Singer Traveler.” During this performance, Hwasa showcased performances such as a medley of Mamamoo’s hit songs and “Don’t Give It to Me” with Loco.

At the time, Hwasa’s performance received a great response, but after videos of the performance were posted on YouTube, some people began to criticize and point out specific gestures made by Hwasa during the performance.

Subsequently, the Student and Parent Human Rights Protection Association reported Hwasa to the police in June, claiming that her actions caused public embarrassment and disgust.
