MAMAMOO‘s Hwasa is preparing for a solo comeback aiming for September!
On the 15th of August, a South Korean media outlet reported that Hwasa is planning to release a new solo album sometime in September. Regarding this, Hwasa’s agency, P NATION, stated, “It’s scheduled for September, but it’s not confirmed.”
After the expiration of her exclusive contract with RBW, Hwasa moved to P NATION, which is led by Psy. As this will be her first album release after changing agencies, there is a lot of anticipation about what kind of music she will present.
Meanwhile, Hwasa debuted in June 2014 as a member of the four-member girl group MAMAMOO. She gained popularity with hit songs like “Mr. Ambiguous,” “Piano Man,” “Um Oh Ah Yeh,” “You’re the Best,” “Décalcomanie,” “Yes I Am,” and “Starry Night.”
Afterwards, Hwasa made her solo debut in 2019 with “Twit” and received recognition as a solo artist with releases like “Maria” and “I’m a B.”
