LOONA, who decided to make a full 11-member comeback without Chuu, will not communicate with the public and media.
On the 16th, Blockberry Creative told TV Report that there will be no separate media showcase and fan showcase on the day of the album release.
When asked if the decision was made in consideration of the recent issues surrounding LOONA, Blockberry said, “We cannot confirm the reason because it is the company’s decision.”
Along with not meeting with reporters, LOONA is reviewing whether or not to hold a live broadcast to talk with fans on the day of the album’s release.
LOONA will make a comeback with ‘Zero’ on January 3rd 2023, at 6 PM KST. Blockberry Creative announced the comeback of LOONA on December 12th, but the fandom and public reaction were cold.
This is because the agency removed member Chuu, claiming that she had verbally abused the staff. However, not only the staff who worked with Chuu, but also LOONA member Hyunjin openly supported Chuu, causing controversy.
Upon hearing the news of LOONA’s comeback, fans and netizens responded negatively, such as “I don’t know what to think of this comeback”, “It’s a really great company”, and “A comeback that no one welcomes”.
