HYBE has confirmed to media outlets that All seven members of the group BTS (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) have completed their contract renewal with their agency Big Hit Music (a subsidiary label under HYBE) on the 25th.

With this announcement, they will continue their group activities as a whole under HYBE led by Bang Si Hyuk, even after all the members have completed their military service in 2025.

On this day, HYBE announced, “All BTS members have completed signing the second contract. (As a result) the members currently serving in the military will have completed their military duty by the start of the new exclusive contract period in 2025.” Jin, J-Hope, and Suga are currently serving in the military, and the other members have also stated that they will announce their enlistment plans sequentially within this year.

BTS, who debuted in June 2013, previously signed their first contract with Big Hit Music in 2018. Starting with becoming the first Korean artist to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart in the same year, they have achieved many firsts in the K-pop industry, including becoming the first K-pop group to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and being the first Korean artist to perform at the Grammy Awards and receive nominations.
