(g)i-dle is preparing for a comeback.

on april 13th, an official from cube entertainment, the agency, told my daily, “(g)i-dle is preparing for a comeback in may.”

(g)i-dle released their 1st regular album ‘i never die’ in march last year. with the title song “tomboy,” they took first place on various domestic music sites and achieved a “perfect all-kill (pak),” demonstrating their powerful music.

following this, the title song ‘nxde’ of the 5th mini album ‘i love’ released in october also recorded a perfect all-kill. in particular, ‘i love’ ranked 71st on the us ‘billboard 200’ chart, and the title song ‘nxde’ also showed off its global influence, ranking 13th on the billboard world digital song sales chart.

(g)i-dle started with their debut song ‘latata’. from ‘han’, ‘senorita’, ‘lion’, ‘oh my god’, ‘ ‘hwa’, and ‘tomboy’ to ‘nxde’, they are releasing hit songs without a break.

as a result, expectations are already high on what kind of charm (g)i-dle will show through their first comeback in 2023 and whether they will be able to record another mega-hit.
