Singer G-Dragon (35, real name Kwon Ji Yong) is denying rumors of a relationship with Miss Korea alum Kim Go Eun (23), but how did such rumors start?
G-Dragon’s agency, Galaxy Corporation, stated to 10Asia on the 11th of March, “G-Dragon and Kim Go Eun are not in a romantic relationship” and clarified that they are “friends with overlapping acquaintances.”
Previously, rumors of a relationship between G-Dragon and Kim Go Eun arose online, pointing out similarities in the background of photos posted by the two. They were also seen attending a PSG match at Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka, Japan last July, sparking interest in their relationship. Kim Go Eun, who is 12 years younger than G-Dragon and the winner of the 2022 Miss Korea pageant, has been at the center of these dating rumors.
Regarding G-Dragon’s comeback, a representative stated, “He is currently working towards a comeback goal this year. We will share details about his comeback or album as soon as they are confirmed.” They also mentioned that the previously announced performance in Las Vegas is still in progress and will happen after the comeback.
Earlier in January, G-Dragon’s music activities were hinted at through X Japan member Yoshiki’s SNS. Yoshiki posted, “Recording in my studio,” tagging his own name and G-Dragon. Along with the post, Yoshiki shared two photos taken with G-Dragon, leading to speculation that Yoshiki may be involved in G-Dragon’s upcoming album.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting G-Dragon’s new music for a long time. His last album released under the name Kwon Ji Yong was in 2017.
