Former T-ara member Ahreum is reported to have attempted a drastic choice, causing concern and sadness among fans.
According to a report by media outlet OSEN on the 27th of March, Ahreum was transferred to a hospital for treatment after attempting a drastic choice on that day.
Ahreum’s drastic choice seems to be due to stress and pressure from her divorce lawsuit with her ex-husband and financial exploitation she suffered through mobile phone hacking.
Ahreum is currently in the process of divorcing her husband. She got married to a businessman two years older than her in 2019 and has two sons under her care. She announced her sudden divorce last December along with the presence of a new boyfriend. She explained that she plans to start anew with her boyfriend after finalizing the divorce lawsuit.
She also claimed that her children are being abused during the divorce lawsuit. She told OSEN, “They say he urinated on the children’s faces. The second child just laughed because he didn’t know, but the first child said he didn’t like it and felt bad, but was forced to see it.” She continued, “It was so difficult to keep asking, but I had to because it was so unbearable. However, the more I heard, the more my heart was torn apart as it wasn’t disciplinary but something else.”
Recently, she also revealed the damage caused by malicious comments, fraud by shamans, and harassment through phone calls and messages. Ahreum said, “I have now reported to the police with confidence and they took money from my family, friends, and even made false evidence, I hope there will be no more harm.”
She also recently revealed via Instagram pictures alleging that her husband abused her. Ahreum alleged that in November of 2021 her estranged husband had lost his temper and ripped off her clothes, choked her, and threatened to kill her in front of their child.
She also claimed that her ex-husband had a history of gambling and frequenting prostitutes both before and during their relationship. Additionally, she mentioned that he had been drinking at a strip club while she was in the hospital with their second child. Ahreum also reported that he had verbally abused her in front of his mother and became physically violent, prompting his own mother to call the police on him.
Meanwhile, Ahreum debuted in 2012 with T-ara’s mini-album ‘DAY BY DAY’. She recently appeared on the JTBC show ‘Sing Again 3’.
