SEVENTEEN’s Joshua is currently rumored to be dating, and one female idol has been somehow roped into his current dating rumors after a post went viral.
Recently, one netizen posted to an online community to allege that SEVENTEEN’s Joshua previously dated a girl group member and based on the description they gave, some netizens began to point the finger at Jane from MOMOLAND.
This came in line with the recent dating rumors involving Joshua as fans speculate on whether he’s dating or not. The dating rumors ignited many discussions and issues as some netizens and fans were vehemently against who Joshua is allegedly dating. Coupled with the agency’s lacking response to the rumors, they continue to run wild, and Jane’s name suddenly came up.
Jane saw this and took to SNS to deny the rumors, she revealed she’d never even met this person or knew him. she stated, “Once again, I searched my name today. I’ve never met SEVENTEEN’s Joshua… I have no knowledge of it at all. I brushed it off thinking ‘there’s smoke without fire,’ but as time went on, it became a serious rumor. I hate it when misunderstandings arise. Now, I’m so upset and frustrated that I wanted to talk about it.”
She added, “I am nervous and cautious, not knowing what to say. At least, I want to say this to our fans, so I’m writing it down. To everyone, I have never met or even been in the same vicinity as the person mentioned in private settings. I have absolutely no connection with that person. I just can’t understand why even after years have passed since then; such stories are still coming up. I have no idea about it at all. I’ve known about these rumors for a long time, and back then, the company received a lot of calls from fans, which led to misunderstandings within the company.”
Many fans have expressed their worry for Jane who has been receiving hate due to these rumors.
