asepa Ningning makes a shocking confession by revealing, “I can barely see with my right eye.”
In a recent interview with a fashion magazine, Ningning picked up eye drops as a must-have product for her while introducing products in her bag, by revealing,
“Eye drops are a must-have product. This is a secret, but I had surgery when I was young due to my poor eyesight. I can barely see with my right eye. I carry eye drops with me so that my eyes are not too dry.”
According to Chinese foreign media, Ningning was reported to have suffered from the aftereffects of Acanthamoeba keratitis when she was a trainee, but it has not been confirmed. Acanthamoeba keratitis is a disease in which Acanthamoeba, a type of protozoan living in tap water or pool water, penetrates the cornea and causes inflammation, which can damage the cornea, reduce vision, and sometimes lead to blindness.
Fans who belatedly learned of Ningning’s vision condition, which was not known at all, raised voices of concern. In this regard, Ningning’s agency SM Entertainment did not express any position yet.
