EXO Xiumin Quietly Enlists In The Military, The First EXO Member To Leave
On May 7, EXO Xiumin quietly enlisted as an active duty soldier, he entered the recruit training center in Yanggu County of Gangwon Province.
His agency, SM Entertainment, previously revealed he plans on enlisting quietly. Several EXO members, TVXQ’s Changmin, and staff were there to send him off. Chanyeol posted a couple of photos to his Instagram promising he’ll visit him with Kai once he’s in the military.
On May 7, he posted one last post to his Instagram, he captioned,
“You are the reason I walk.”
Xiumin is the oldest EXO member; he is born in 1990 and is the first member of EXO to enlist in the military.
As a goodbye gift to his fans, he will be releasing the solo track “You” through SM STATION on May 9.
