DPR IAN Revealed To Have Directed And Starred In IU’s Upcoming Music Video For “Shopper”

IU is showcasing another genre, “Electro-Pop Rock,” following her hit song “Blueming” with DPR IAN.

According to her agency, Edam Entertainment, one of the double title tracks on IU’s new mini-album, “The Winning,” called “Shopper,” is an intense electro-pop rock track with a refreshing guitar sound and various transitions that constantly stimulate the ears.

Edam introduced the song as a track that will showcase IU’s ability to perform high notes in the chorus, surpassing her signature three-octave high notes.

The music video for “Shopper” was directed by DPR (Dream Perfect Regime) IAN, a member of the hip-hop crew DPR. IAN, who entered the Billboard 200 chart at 138th place with his EP “Dear Insanity…” in October last year, is also a music video director who has worked with artists such as Taeyang, Loco, and Song Min Ho.

The entire production process of the music video, including directing, editing, and post-production, was done internally by DPR. IAN also appears in the “Shopper” music video.

Edam released a teaser video for the “Shopper” music video on social media at midnight on this day. The video features IU appearing in a dark store, holding binoculars and looking towards the camera. Various objects such as broken candy and a golden baseball bat are shown.

“The Winning” will be released on music platforms on the 20th of this month at 6 PM.
