DKB’s Teo is leaving his group!

Teo has been caught drunk driving and received a license suspension. Along with this news, it was announced that he will be leaving the group.

On the 6th of November, DKB’s Teo agency Brave Entertainment announced through the fan cafe, “On October 30th, our artist Teo was caught by the police for drunk driving and received a license suspension.”

The agency stated that drunk driving is an unacceptable behavior regardless of the reason and said, “After careful discussion with the individual, we have decided to accept his opinion that he cannot cause harm to the group and have decided for Theo to leave the team.”

Furthermore, the agency apologized and said, “We deeply understand the seriousness and responsibility of this situation, and from now on, our company will put our utmost efforts into managing and educating our artists. We apologize for causing concerns to our fans.”

Following Theo’s departure, DKB will reorganize the team into an 8-member system and continue their activities. The agency requested, “Even in difficult situations, please continue to show love and support to the 8 DKB members who are working their best for a comeback.”

Teo had also released a handwritten apology letter addressing the situation, he wrote,

I apologize to the fans who must have felt great disappointment due to my regrettable actions. It was an irresponsible behavior that betrayed the love and support you have given me.
I am deeply sorry for causing harm to the members and staff who are working hard to prepare for a comeback, despite still sweating and working diligently to make amends for my immature actions. From today onwards, I will be leaving the team.

This news comes after the group was confirmed to make a comeback in November. Teo is also known for being a key vocalist in the group adding shock to the sudden announcement.

DKB debuted in 2020 with their debut album ‘Youth’ and solidified their position as a “4th generation energizer” by reaching the top 4 on the JTBC show ‘Peak Time’ that aired in February.

However, with the news of Teo’s drunk driving and departure, there is ongoing disappointment.
