Dawn bids a regretful farewell to fans on the day of his enlistment.
On the 12th of October, Dawn posted to his Instagram stories announcing he’s enlisted today to serve as a social service worker. The idol apologized for not informing fans sooner due to his desire to enlist quietly.

Hello, everyone. This is Dawn. I am here to deliver some sudden news!
From today onwards, I will be fulfilling my military duty as a social service worker.
I apologize for not being able to inform you in advance due to my desire to quietly enlist.

Meanwhile, Dawn originally debuted as a member of the boy group PENTAGON in 2016. After admitting his relationship with singer HyunA in 2018, he left PENTAGON. Dawn and HyunA had been in a six-year relationship but broke up in December last year. The idol has since released solo music.
