Cube Entertainment Announces The Departure Of Five PENTAGON Members From The Agency, Does Not Clarify Group Status
Cube Entertainment has shocked fans by revealing that five members have left their agency!
On October 9, Cube Entertainment released an official statement to its SNS. Yeo One, Yan An, Yuto, Kino and Wooseok have left their agency.
In their statement, the agency does not clarify what this means for the group’s status which left fans feeling bad as they do not know what the status is right now. Only later when member Yeo One wrote a letter to fans assuring he will remain as part of the group. Kino had similarly shared a group photo with the caption, ‘PENTAGON never dies,’ before the contract news came out.
Below is the full official statement from Cube Entertainment:
“Hello, this is Cube Entertainment.
First of all, we sincerely thank the fans who have cherished and supported Pentagon.
Our company had sincere conversations with members of Pentagon for a long time before the expiration of their exclusive contracts. After careful discussions, we have decided to terminate the exclusive contracts with members Yeo One, Yan An, Yuto, Kino and Wooseok.
We express our deep gratitude to Yeo One, Yan An, Yuto, Kino and Wooseok, who have been with our company for seven years, and we wish them happiness in their future endeavors.
We ask for warm encouragement and support for the new starting members of Pentagon, Yeo One Yan An, Yuto, Kino and Wooseok
