CLC’s Sorn’s recent photo shoot has come under fire!

Recently, Sorn graced the cover of a magazine for a photo shoot. She wore Versace and was accompanied by a male model. However, her hair came under fire as it resembles the hair texture of black people with afro hair. Many fans voiced their comments about the photo shoot on social media prompting calls for an apology.

After the backlash, Harper’s BAZAAR Singapore removed the controversial photos from their websites and Sorn’s agency issued an apology. However, their apology was met with backlash as some fans believe it was not enough and not worded as an apology should. They wrote,

We hear and understand the concerns raised regarding the recent editorial shoot with Harper’s BAZAAR Singapore, we are currently prioritizing and protecting our artist’s well-being. While the styling of the shoot was solely under the jurisdiction of the publication, we deeply apologize for our own oversight, and for the offense we may have caused. We are working hard to rectify the situation.
