BTOB member Lee Changsub has found a new agency and became the 1st member of his group to announce the news.
Fantagio announced on the 22nd of November, “After deep conversations and discussions with Lee Changsub, we have signed an exclusive contract and decided to work together.”
After the expiration of his exclusive contract with Cube Entertainment, Lee Changsub transferred to Fantagio after long discussions, which also includes Cha Eunwoo.
Fantagio emphasized, “We will spare no support for Lee Changsub to actively engage in various genres. As he has a strong determination for group activities, we will coordinate and support his group activities as a priority.”
In a handwritten letter, Lee Changsub expressed his affection for BTOB, saying, “After much consideration, I have made a new start at Fantagio. Please wait a little longer as good news will soon come from the members. Don’t worry, we will be together forever.”
He also stated, “I will continue to prioritize group activities and have planned activities in the future, so I would appreciate your continued support and love. I am so thankful and grateful to our members for supporting and approving my decision. I love you and will always be together.”
Previously, there were various rumors about the potential of BTOB members starting their own label to manage their group activities, it was alleged that one of the reasons no one re-signed with Cube was because of disputes over the group’s copyrights.
