The 2023 VMAs were held on September 12 [local time], here are what awards kpop artists took!
For the first award of the night, TXT won “PUSH Performance of the Year” with “Sugar Rush Ride.” This is their 1st ever VMAs award. Similarly, Stray Kids won “Best K-Pop” with “S-Class,” their first award in the kpop category.
Later that night, Jungkook won “Song of the Summer” with “Seven (featuring Latto)” and BLACKPINK took home “Group of the Year,” becoming the first girl group to win this award since 1999.
BLACKPINK took another award too, they won Best Choreography with “Pink Venom.”
