BTOB member Peniel will sit out of BTOB’s comeback promotions due to his back injury.
On May 2, BTOB’s agency Cube Entertainment issued this statement to Weverse:
BTOB member PENIEL, went to the hospital due to his back pain getting worse this morning (2nd) for treatment and was decided he would need to rest.
As a result, he is unable attend his schedules that was scheduled for today KBS Cool FM ‘BTOB’s Kiss the Radio’ and tomorrow (3rd) ‘Lee Eunji’s Gayo Sqare.
The schedule will proceed according to PENIEL’s recovery.
We sincerely apologize to fans with the sudden news.
We will continue to do our best for the health and safety of our artists.

BTOB will come back with “WIND AND WISH” on May 2 at 6 p.m. KST.
