The upcoming Netflix drama “CASHERO” has confirmed actors Lee Junho, Kim Byung Chul, Kim Hye Jun And Kim Hyang Gi for the project!
“CASHERO” is a slice-of-life superhero drama based on the popular webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of Kang Sang-woong, an ordinary civil servant who gains super strength proportional to the amount of money he holds in his hand and uses it to save the world.
Lee Junho will be playing the protagonist Kang Sang-woong. He will showcase his humanistic and charming side as he struggles with the reality of losing money every time he uses his superpower.
Kim Hye Jun will take on the role of Kang Sang-woong’s longtime girlfriend, Kim Min-sook. Her character possesses exceptional skills and talent when it comes to numbers.
Kim Byung Chul will portray a lawyer with a special ability that activates when he drinks alcohol. He proposes to Kang Sang-woong to join forces and save the world together, as they both face off against the mystery organization called “The Culprits” that hunts down superpowered individuals.
Kim Hyang Gi plays the role of Bang Eun-mi, a superpowered individual who can use telekinesis in proportion to the calories she consumes.
The drama is directed by Lee Chang-min, who previously worked on “Agency” and written by Lee Je-in and Jeon Chan-ho, who collaborated on the drama “Sisyphus: The Myth.”
