The drama “Bitter Sweet Hell” stars Kim Hee Sun and Lee Hye Young returning as a family mystery.
MBC revealed teaser posters for the new Friday-Saturday drama “Bitter Sweet Hell” recently. The posters feature Kim Hee Sun, Lee Hye Young, Kim Nam Hee, Kwon Hae Hyo, and Jae Chan.
It portrays a harmonious family of three generations. No Young Won (played by Kim Hee Sun) and her husband, son, and father-in-law smile brightly. Hong Sa Kang (played by Lee Hye Young) looks at the camera with a reserved expression.
Mysterious numbers are also captured. Numbers from 1 to 5 are assigned to the characters’ faces. The faint light of a flashlight and the caption at the top of the poster amplify the mystery of the drama.
The production team stated, “In the first teaser poster for “Bitter Sweet Hell”, mysterious numbers are assigned to the No Young Won family, hinting at a profound message. We will present a new and unique ‘human black comedy’ that has never been seen before. Please look forward to “Bitter Sweet Hell”, which will deliver a fatal twist.”
“Bitter Sweet Hell” is a human black comedy. No Young Won, a family counseling expert, is being threatened by someone. It is a story of collaboration with Hong Sa Kang, a mother-in-law and a mystery novel writer. Kim Hee Sun takes on the role of No Young Won, the top counselor and celebrity in South Korea. Lee Hye Young plays the role of Hong Sa Kang. In addition, Kim Nam Hee plays No Young Won’s husband, Choi Jae Jin. Kwon Hae Hyo portrays the former prosecutor general and father-in-law, Choi Go Myeon, and Jae Chan appears as No Young Won’s son, Choi Do Hyun.
Meanwhile, “Bitter Sweet Hell” will premiere on the 24th of May at 9:50 PM.
