BLACKPINK’s Jisoo has started filming a music video for her solo debut song.

On February 21st, YG Entertainment said, “The music video for Jisoo’s solo song is being filmed in all locations overseas in strict secrecy. You can look forward to it as we invested the largest production cost ever among BLACKPINK videos.”

Considering that the music video shooting is in the final stages of album production, it can be assumed that Jisoo‘s solo debut is not far away. YG’s explanation is that Jisoo, despite the busy schedule of the world tour, poured out extraordinary dedication, such as volunteering to re-record for the completeness of the album. In addition to Jisoo’s passion, YG’s full support was added. Jisoo, who will be reborn as a solo artist, planned all locations overseas to maximize the charm of this song.

As the solo debut of Jisoo is on the way, the anticipation is gradually increasing. With her unrivaled visuals and unique vocals, she has been loved by global fans. Expectations are high on what kind of music she will unfold.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is currently conducting the largest K-pop girl group world tour ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK]’, attracting about 1.5 million people. After successfully completing 14 North American performances in 7 cities and 10 European tours in 7 cities last year, they are heading to Asia to meet more fans.
