With this, Jennie will walk the red carpet at the Cannes International Film Festival with her debut film as an actress, “The Idol.” Jennie, who has already gained worldwide popularity as a K-pop singer, is drawing attention for her acting performance.
“The Idol” is a series that depicts the relationships and music industry surrounding a rising female pop singer in the music industry of Los Angeles, USA. Jennie already showed her strong presence in the teaser video of “The Idol,” which was released in October last year, even though it was a short clip.
The 76th Cannes International Film Festival will be held in Cannes, southern France, from May 16th to 27th.
