There have been reports that G-Dragon, whose exclusive contract with YG Entertainment has expired, will join Warner Music in the United States.

Last month, foreign media outlets reported that G-Dragon visited the Warner Music Records office in Los Angeles, California on the 28th of September. G-Dragon seemed to confirm this news by posting a photo on social media showing a billboard with the words “WELCOME G-DRAGON.”

Previously, it was reported that the headquarters of Warner Music Records publicly welcomed G-Dragon with a billboard displaying his photo and the phrase “WELCOME G-DRAGON.” Warner Music Records is considered one of the top three major music groups worldwide.

In May, YG Entertainment acknowledged that G-Dragon’s exclusive contract had expired and stated that discussions were underway regarding his future activities. Earlier this year, G-Dragon was working on music and excited fans by announcing plans for a solo album comeback.

YG is yet to address these reports.
