G-Dragon has opened up about his extended hiatus in a recent interview!
G-dragon grazed the cover of ELLE. In the photos, G-Dragon exudes his unique aura. His charismatic gaze is intense. He completes the flamboyant style of clothing in his own distinctive way. By adding various props, he enhances the perfection of the photoshoot.
G-Dragon also conducted an interview with the magazine. When asked, “Are the music releases under the name G-Dragon still the best way to understand you?” he replied, “Probably. Unless I’m being interviewed or having a separate conversation, music seems to be the only way I can express myself. I may not be able to convey what I ate today or what I did in detail, but through my songs, I’ve shared my experiences. It’s all my story.”
Continuing, when asked about his desire for stage performances or tours, G-Dragon answered, “Of course, I have a desire for it. Although I’m involved in activities such as photoshoots, attending shows, and advertisements, I haven’t made a comeback as a singer yet. After that point, there will be events like performances or tours that I, as G-Dragon, will naturally do. Right now, I’m in the stage of continuously working with the hope that my future self will be in a good state.”
G-Dragon also mentioned his new album. When asked if there are any emotions or themes he wants to explore or express while working on the new album, he replied, “The songs I’m currently working on naturally reflect a lot of my current state and story. I’m still in the process of discovering them as I work. Once they’re completed, I think I’ll be able to understand my emotional state by listening to them. I’ve taken a long break from activities. Rather than making a solemn commitment to tackle something specific, I’m approaching the work with excitement and anticipation. I’m also looking forward to how the finished songs will resonate with people.”
