The sibling duo AKMU (Akdong Musician, Lee Chanhyuk, Lee Suhyun) is making a comeback with a new album.
Their agency, YG Entertainment, confirmed the news on the 25th of July, stating, “AKMU is currently in the later stages of preparing for a summer comeback with a new album. We will provide more details once they are confirmed,” officially announcing AKMU’s comeback.
This upcoming release will mark AKMU’s first new song in approximately two years since their collaboration album ‘NEXT EPISODE’ in July 2021.
Since the release of that album, both members have been focusing on their solo activities. In October 2022, Lee Chanhyuk showcased his rich and diverse musicality with his first solo full-length album ‘ERROR,’ receiving acclaim from critics.
Lee Suhyun, on the other hand, displayed her vocal talents through solo tracks, participating in dramas’ OSTs such as “My Liberation Notes” and “Curtain Call.”
