Former T-ara member Ahreum, who was reported to have attempted suicide during a lawsuit and fell into unconsciousness, has regained consciousness and posted a warning message stating that she will take legal action against YouTubers and malicious commenters.

On the 29th of March, Ahreum posted a long message on her Instagram, along with a photo of herself wearing hospital clothes and lying in bed, thanking fans for their concerns about her deteriorating health.

Ahreum wrote, “The words of a certain YouTuber that I saw in a difficult situation, where it is hard for me to even walk due to my body not fully recovered, are not true. It’s the words of someone who inflates plausible stories and makes victims without knowing the situation.” She also mentioned that such actions not only harm her, but also her innocent boyfriend.

In particular, Ahreum hinted at legal action against the YouTuber by saying, “If you want to post such things, it would have been better to contact me to ask a doctor for my opinion, as it would have probably garnered more views. It’s a pity that you would pay a heavier price than just views.”

Ahreum also warned the malicious commenters, saying, “I will never forgive those who treat me like prey when I am in pain and distress. I will definitely bring misfortune to those who dare to bother me and my senior-juniors and happily mock them.”

Reflecting on her near-death experience, Ahreum expressed her will to live, saying, “At the brink of death, thoughts of my loved ones, children, family, and friends who cherished me came to mind. I realized that I want to live because I won’t be able to see them again. I fought desperately like a demon and regained consciousness. The hospital even called it a miracle that I survived. I believe it is God’s will that I deal with the entertainers who have passed away, the malicious commenters who continue to hurt others, and the YouTubers who manipulate people without regard for the consequences, and start seeking revenge for everyone’s injustice.”

Meanwhile, Ahreum stated, “I will show how tough a mother with many protective instincts can be” and also took a jab at her ex-husband, saying, “You may be one of the malicious commenters. You must have wished for my death, but look, I survived. It seems like it’s not about wanting me to pay for the pain I caused the kids, but wanting me to pay for my sins.”

The day before, YouTuber Lee Jin-ho’ shared screenshots of allegedly when Ahreum and her boyfriend were asking for millions of won from their social media followers for hospital bills, and revealed text messages and phone call recordings.

In response, Ahreum explained that after receiving financial support from her social media followers, she was hacked and said, “We felt unjust, but we thought we should repay the money even if it meant giving it back, so we asked for contact, but received no response.”

A Korean media outlet named Sports Kyunghyang attempted to contact Ahreum and her boyfriend A after the sponsorship controversy, but could not reach them.

Meanwhile, Areum revealed last December that she is in the process of divorcing her ex-husband and introduced her current boyfriend. She accused her ex-husband of child abuse and domestic violence, shocking many with the photos she shared.
