Singer Lee Hyori confessed that she used to like lip-syncing in the past.

On February 2, Park Myung Soo appeared as a guest on KBS 2TV’s ‘The Seasons-Lee Hyori’s Red Carpet’.

Lee Hyori asked, “I’m curious, why do you keep covering one ear while singing?” while watching Park Myung Soo covering one ear.

Park Myung Soo replied, “Because I am a low-cost version of Lee Seung-chul, I imitate what Seung-chul hyung does. When the equipment wasn’t good in the past, I covered my ear to hear my own voice. I benchmarked what Seung-chul hyung did. It became a habit to cover one ear every time I sing. I often hear people say, ‘Isn’t your pitch bad?’ It’s a bit uncomfortable wearing in-ear monitors. I’ve never worn them and sang before. I used to lip-sync a lot in the past. Even if I dropped the microphone, it was okay.”

Lee Hyori also said, “I used to like lip-syncing a lot too,” and added, “There used to be a lot of lip-sync broadcasts in the past, but nowadays there are not many. Nowadays, idol friends are all good at singing live,” to which Park Myung Soo jokingly replied, “You can just lip-sync.”
