After Lady Oh dies by poisoning in front of the king, he says he’ll see to the end of it. Yeo-Hwa wants to know the truth but she’s pushed back.

Later, Lord Seok talks to the king and Park Yoon-Hak and urges him in a threatening manner to know how to behave to protect the king, the king attempts to push back but he sees him as a huge threat.

At night, Yeo-Hwa talks to Soo-Ho about it, she cannot believe Lord Seok killed her brother, she demands to meet Kang Pil-Jik and question him herself. she nearly kills him after knowing the truth.

Out of anger, she seeks Lord Seok and nearly reveals herself and tries to kill him, Soo Ho stops her just in time to prevent her from exposing herself.

After that, Lord Seok senses Soo Ho knows that masked man and asks for the young prince of 6 years to come to the palace.

As Yeo Hwa discusses what happened with Soo Ho, she discovers her brother’s hidden letters in the sword and one from the king proving what Lord Seok did. Thus, the team decides to ambush Lord Seok and tell him about this letter to be delivered to the king.

Alone, Yeo Hwa goes to meet the king and shows him the letter, he cries reading it and now knows what he should do. Its also revealed that the group hid Kang Pil-Jik away and will punish him as fit.

The next day, Lord Seok brings the 6-year-old prince to threaten the king, but he has him ambushed. He brings out the rest of the consultants and then Yeo Hwa enters, she enters with her sword and exposes him for all his crimes, for how he killed her brother, the former king and Soo Ho’s parents.

He tries to shut her up but fails to do so as the evidence letter is read, he’s then taken in from treason. He’s then ordered to be exiled and tortured for his crimes. the King also shows mercy on his family not charging them with anything based on what Yeo Hwa said.

Since the issue is over, now Yeo Hwa is about to be branded as a divorcee, which is still horrible. Her husband hears this and is not okay with it. So he goes to discuss this with Lady Jang. Then, the young kid they took in says something clever, that he never saw her face so how could they have married. Thus, they rule the wedding was a sham and she’s not technically married to him.

However, Yeo Hwa had talked to Soo Ho before and said she wanted to be free not to be tied to anyone after this ordeal is over, she leaves without saying much and disappears. Soo Ho tries to tell her he doesn’t care but she insists, she leaves without knowing her marriage has been nullified.

Soo Ho tries to seek her after she disappeared but he decides to wait for her.

1 year later

Now, the Myungdoo Inn is still doing great and Lee Yeon-Sun has become a financer for the place. Park Yoon-Hak ends up sort of offering her to marry him as he shows her around his home since she’s been wanting to buy one.

At night, Soo Ho hears of a masked man fighting injustice so he catches Yeo Hwa in the act. Once he does know its her, she says she’s not easy to catch but he holds her hands and says he’ll never let go again.
