Review of episode 14
The drama definitely faltered, a lot, along the way. There are a lot of points that just don’t make sense writing wise or are overlooked for the sake of extending the run time. This in turn makes the drama feel the way it did. It doesn’t need 16 episodes.
Aside from the frustration with Suho’s character ending, they had many moments to rectify this, including having Ye Bun touch Gwang-Sik’s butt to figure out what happened.
I think Jang-Yeol, while immensely frustrating, makes a lot of sense from a detective perspective. It makes sense he’d look at Seon Woo like that. Even until the last moment, the screenwriter tries their hardest to confuse the audience for maximum payout.
I think the Shaman is the killer, a lot of people are leaning towards that theory. I think Seon Woo wanted to show Ye Bun the weapon when he asked her to come see him but didn’t because the shaman showed up. In turn because Seon Woo feels annoyed and frustrated with Jang-Yeol, he doesn’t share information with him. it makes sense because he’d likely frame him again.
The most frustrating is definitely Ye Bun who doesn’t seem to understand basic sense when it comes to stuff like this. It annoys me when characters behave so dumb simply because the plot needs to happen.
Anyways, definitely surprised by Seon Woo’s death. Let us see what happens next week.
