To What Degree Will Yoo Ah In Appear In Netflix’s “Goodbye Earth”? Netflix Clarifies
Actor Yoo Ah In’s upcoming drama “Goodbye Earth” has confirmed its release and Netflix has explained the degree of his participation in the upcoming drama.
On the 29th of March, Netflix stated to Ten Asia, “The issue (Yoo Ah In’s drug scandal) occurred during post-production after filming, not during filming. As he is a key character in shaping the story of the work, the appearance of actor Yoo Ah In is inevitable. In order not to disrupt the flow of the work, the director, writer, and production team had extensive discussions and proceeded with re-editing and post-production.”
“Goodbye Earth” depicts the story of people living together until the end despite the chaos of the impending end of the world with the collision of Earth and an asteroid D-200. Based on the novel of the same name by Japanese author Isaka Kotaro, the drama stars Yoo Ah In, alongside Ahn Eun Jin, Jeon Sung Woo, and Kim Yoon Hye.
Yoo Ah In was indicted without detention on charges of injecting medical narcotics from September 2020 to March 2022.
“Goodbye Earth,” starring Yoo Ah In, will be released on Netflix on April 26th.
