“The Outlaws 2” Garners More Than 7 Million Moviegoers In Just 2 Weeks + Surpasses Its Own Prequel Record
“The Outlaws 2” (“The Roundup”) surpasses its own prequel with its moviegoers at the Korean box office!
“The Outlaws 2” is a movie that depicts the thrilling crime-fighting operation of the legendary detective Ma Seok Do (Ma Dong Seok) and his squad to catch the strongest villain Kang Hae Sang (Son Suk Ku). It is the highly-awaited sequel of the hit 2017 movie “The Outlaws.”
On June 1, the Korean Film Council revealed that “The Outlaws 2” has now officially garnered more than 7 million moviegoers in just 2 weeks, surpassing its own prequel which had the final total of moviegoers be 6,880,546.
In addition, “The Outlaws 2” is now the fastest movie since the popular 2019 film “Parasite” to garner more than 7 million moviegoers.
