“The Glory” Actor Heo Dong Won Divorces From Wife After Only 1 Year Of Marriage

Actor Heo Dong Won has reportedly divorced his non-celebrity wife after just one year of marriage.

According to industry sources on the 29th of February, Heo Dong Won ended his marriage with his non-celebrity wife after one year of marriage.

The two, who got married in March last year, reportedly decided to divorce after much thought. There are no traces of his wife left on Heo Dong-won’s social media accounts.

Later, according to his agency Ace Factory, Heo Dong Won confirmed the divorce reports. He requested understanding, saying, “I find it difficult to answer in detail as it is a private matter.”

Heo Dong Won had his non-celebrity wedding on March 1st last year. He revealed on SBS TV’s ‘Kang’s Kitchen League’ that he took wedding photos on the day they started dating. He explained, “We had known each other for quite a long time. My wife was working at a place where I went as a guest. I confessed, ‘I don’t want to date since we’ve known each other for a long time. I want to get married.'”

Heo Dong Won built his acting skills on the theater stage. He gained recognition for his role as the detective ‘Oh Dong-kyun’ in the movies ‘The Outlaws’ Season 1 and 2 (2017-2022). He played the role of colleague ‘Chu Sun-saeng’ to ‘Moon Dong-eun’ in Netflix’s ‘The Glory’ (2022-2023).

Heo Dong Won continues his active acting career despite the pain. He is scheduled to meet with audiences through the play ‘Jeongdongjin’ until March 3rd.
