Girls’ Generation member and actress Sooyoung, who has been in a public relationship with actor Jung Kyung Ho for 11 years, has revealed the possibility of getting married.
Recently, Sooyoung was interviewed at the Saram Entertainment building in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul to commemorate the end of the ENA drama “Not Others.” “Not Others” is a drama that depicts the extravagant life of a mother and a cool daughter and their love and relationships.
Before the actual interview, she expressed her thoughts on the end of the drama, saying, “It’s been a while since the filming ended, but until just now, many people have been saying that they are enjoying the drama. It makes me happy to hear those words recently. It’s amazing that the concerns I had while filming have been well conveyed to the viewers.”
When the first episode of “Not Others” aired, it recorded a rating of 1.266%, but as the episodes continued, the ratings gradually increased, and the recent episodes surpassed 4%. Due to this, “Not Others” was also called ENA’s ‘Post-Woo Young-woo’. She commented, “Before this drama aired, I thought it would be great if this drama ended well. It was the first time in my life that I cared about the numerical results. I hope that the story of these two characters is loved by many and that their family story brings comfort to people. When the director showed me the first episode, I felt relieved because I thought that no matter what the results were, my heart was at ease and the drama turned out well.”
She also said, “At first, I thought, ‘Am I the only one who finds it interesting?’ But many viewers felt the same way, so I am grateful and it’s a fascinating experience. After the drama ended, many people said that they binge-watched ‘Run On’ and called it a life-changing drama. It was the first time for me to hear stories in real-time while the drama was airing.”
Sooyoung has been publicly dating actor Jung Kyung Ho since 2012. She spoke highly of Jung Kyung Ho, saying, “Actor Jung Kyung Ho has been very supportive of me. He took care of me a lot. He even paid more attention to TV ratings than I did. He would send me messages every morning, telling me how well the show performed.” She expressed her gratitude, saying, “I am thankful that there is someone who cares about me more than I do, despite all the hard work and concerns I have.”
