Song Kang has enlisted in the military!
On April 2, Song Kang took to Instagram to share photos of his new military buzz cut along with the text, “I will work hard and return!!!”
Song Kang enlisted in the army as an active duty soldier earlier today.
Ahead of his enlistment, Song Kang expressed his thoughts through a handwritten letter in his official fan cafe. He said, “I’m thinking about where to start and what to bring out. You must have all seen it, finally going. To the fans who have loved me since my debut in 2017 and afterwards! I feel like I exist because you are always there. It’s a time when many memories and years pass like a comet.”
He continued, “These days, before going to bed, I always write a gratitude diary. There are so many things to be thankful for from our fans. Birthdays, anniversaries, fan meetings, etc., they filled my 20s with meaningful and memorable moments, and I am just grateful. I won’t be by your side for a while now, but time will come back soon, so I hope to see you again with a grateful and healthy heart.”
He also wrote, “I have many things I want to do in the army, and one of them is learning a new language. I don’t want to waste the year and a half of time. I hope our fans also have meaningful and significant moments during that time, such as doing what they want to do, finding themselves, etc. I will go and return safely and happily.”
Meanwhile, Song Kang is an actor who has received love through various works such as ‘Sweet Home,’ and ‘My Demon.’ The 3rd and final installment of “Sweet Home” will be released later this year.
