Actor Song Joong Ki and his wife have welcomed their first child into this world.
On June 14th, Song Joong Ki’s agency announced the happy news.
Regarding the date of birth and other details, they stated, “We apologize for not being able to provide information about the baby. We express our gratitude to everyone who sends their congratulations.”
On the same day, Song Joong Ki personally shared the news through his fan cafe, attracting attention.

Hello, it’s Joong Ki. I wonder how everyone is doing. As you all know, I’ve finished filming the movie ‘Bogota’ in Hungary and even had the honor of attending the Cannes Film Festival for the movie ‘hopeless.’ I’ve been having such happy days that all those moments at film festivals and such feel like a dream.
Today, I’m here to share another dream-like news with all of you first. I’m currently in Italy. Finally, I met my baby in my wife’s hometown, Rome. He’s a healthy son. I’m taking care of my family with a grateful heart, feeling so happy to meet my baby and his mother in good health.
To us, who have always dreamed of building a happy family, this seems like the most precious gift that has come. And thanks to everyone who sent their support, such a good day has come. Thank you. Song Joong Ki announced on the fan cafe on January 30 of 2023 that he had registered his marriage with Katie. He said, “I vowed to share my life with Katie. She has a good heart and has lived her life passionately. She is respectfully wise and wonderful. Thankfully, a precious life has come to us.” His agency HighZium Studio said, “They will also hold a separate wedding ceremony, but no specific timing has been decided. They will live their married life in and out of Korea and the UK.”
