Actress Seo Ye Ji has emerged from the entertainment industry’s FA [free agent] market. She has decided to end her four-year partnership with her agency, Gold Medalist.

According to reports on the 30th, Seo Ye Ji’s exclusive contract with Gold Medalist has expired. The two sides have recently been in close discussions about the expiration of the exclusive contract and have decided not to renew it.

Seo Ye Ji’s departure from Gold Medalist comes after about four years. She has been with Gold Medalist since its establishment in January 2020. After sufficient discussions, both sides have chosen a beautiful parting. Gold Medalist stated, “Seo Ye Ji’s exclusive contract with our company, which lasted for the past four years, has ended. Although the journey with Seo Ye Ji and Gold Medalist has come to an end, we will cherish the precious memories we had with her for a long time.”

They added, “We would like to express our gratitude to Seo Ye Ji, a beautiful actress who trusted and took her first steps with us in 2019, and sincerely support her new beginning. We ask for your continued support for actress Seo Ye Ji.”

Seo Ye Ji faced difficulties last year due to various allegations, including gaslighting involving her ex-boyfriend Kim Jung Hyun, school violence, and academic forgery.

Seo Ye Ji continued her acting career with the tvN drama “Eve,” which aired from June to July last year. She has not made a comeback this year.

Gold Medalist is a comprehensive entertainment company that engages in management and content production. They co-produced dramas such as “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” and “One Day.” Actors such as Kim Soo Hyun, Choi Hyun Wook, Seol In Ah and many more are under their management.
