tvN’s new weekend drama “See You In My 19th Life” held its press conference recently, with director Lee Na Jeong, Shin Hye Sun, Ahn Bo Hyun, Ha Yoon Kyung, and Ahn Dong Gu in attendance.
On this day, director Lee Na Jeong expressed her thoughts on the upcoming first broadcast of “See You In My 19th Life,” saying, “There may be various romance dramas, but I hope there are people who love and appreciate our unique charm.”
“See You In My 19th Life” is a reincarnation romance drama based on the webtoon of the same name by Lee Hye. It tells the story of Ban Ji-yeon, a 19th life character who remembers her past lives, as she searches for the person she must meet in this life
In the drama, Shin Hye Sun plays Ban Ji-yeon, a woman who remembers her past lives, and Ahn Bo Hyun plays Moon Soo-ho, a second-generation chaebol who can’t forget his first love. Ban Ji-yeon’s goal in this life is to reunite with Moon Soo-ho, the most special connection she met in her 18th life, where she lived as Yoon Ju-won (played by Kim Si A). The two will unfold a thrilling reincarnation romance while carrying over their past-life connection into the present.
Ha Yoon Kyung plays Yoon Cho-won, the younger sister of Yoon Ju-won, Ban Ji-yeon’s past life, and Ahn Dong Gu plays Ha Do-yoon, Moon Soo-ho’s loyal secretary and long-time friend.
As Shin Hye Sun took on different roles for each episode as the 19th life character, she may have faced difficulties. Regarding this, she said with a smile, “It was really charming, but it would be difficult to live through 19 lives. I only put a spoon on the set table. Other people played my past lives beautifully, and I was grateful that I only had to show the expression of ‘This is how I was.'”
The cast members explained the key points of “See You In My 19th Life,” Director Lee Na Jeong said, “Rather than fancy words, I thought of the drama as a friend and a presence always by your side. I tried to create fun and touching moments. There are also various things to enjoy, so I ask for a lot of viewership.”
Shin Hye Sun said, “It feels like a friend who would offer cocoa when you visit their house.
