SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama “Flexx Cop” has confirmed its first broadcast date.
The production team of “Flexx Cop” announced on the 22nd that the drama will air its first episode on January 26th at 10 PM. It will follow SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama ‘My Demon’, which has been airing since last month.
“Flexx Cop” depicts the story of a third-generation chaebol who becomes a powerful detective. It is gaining attention as the new work of the SBS Friday-Saturday Universe, which has gained immense popularity with its comical character play and thrilling storyline in dramas such as “Taxi Driver” and ‘One the Woman’.
Writer Kim Bada, who wrote the drama ‘My Name’, and director Kim Jaehong, who co-directed ‘Watcher of Evil’ and ‘The Guest’, have joined forces for this drama.
On the same day, two posters were released sparking curiosity about “Flexx Cop”.”
The first teaser poster resembles a list of evidence items in a case, stimulating detective instincts. In particular, it is interesting that there are items with completely different purposes and atmospheres arranged above and below the caption “Chaebol 3rd Generation’s FLEX Investigation Kit”. The top part features various police investigation items such as a gun, taser, handcuffs, baton, and walkie-talkie, while the bottom part features items that reveal the owner’s luxurious taste, such as gold bars and luxury clothing.
The second teaser poster features the appearance of Jin Yi-su, a chaebol 3rd generation who becomes a detective. Ahn Bo Hyun’s confident smile and the caption “Money for money, Back for back” already bring a refreshing feeling.
