Pyo Ye Jin and Lee Jun Young will be starring together in a new romantic comedy drama set to be released next year.
TVing announced on the 14th of September that Pyo Ye Jin and Lee Jun Young have been confirmed as the leads for the original series “I Openly Dream of Cinderella.”
The drama depicts a woman who decides to become Cinderella despite facing the reality of barriers and the love story that unfolds when she meets a man who doesn’t believe in love, a chaebol heir.
Lee Jun Young will play the role of Moon Cha-min, a chaebol heir and the representative of a social club, while Pyo Ye Jin will portray Shin Jae-rim, who joins the social club as a manager in search of her prince charming.
Story Phoenix, founded by Baek Mi-kyung, the writer of “The Lady in Dignity” (2017), “Strong Woman Do Bong-soon” (2017), and “Mine” (2021), will be participating in the production of this drama in collaboration with Keyeast.
The directing will be handled by Kim Min Kyung, who has directed tvN’s “Comedy Big League” and “SNL Korea,” and the script will be written by a rookie writer named Yu-ja.
