Actor Park Seo Joon has spoken up about the dating rumors involving YouTuber and singer Xooos.
On the morning of the 21st of June, the production presentation of the movie “Concrete Utopia” was held at Lotte Cinemain Seoul. Actors Lee Byung Hun, Park Seo Joon, Park Bo Youn and more attended the event.
On June 20, a specific media outlet reported that the two are in a dating relationship and have a special bond worthy of being introduced to friends. Photos of the two together with friends were also posted on online communities.
The media outlet quoted alleged insiders who said they have been introducing each other to their friends’ groups and that they enjoy dates like any other couple.
Park Seo Joon’s agency, Awesome ENT, neither confirmed nor denied the rumors, simply stating, “It is difficult to confirm as it is their private life. We apologize.”
When asked about the dating rumors with Xooos, Park Seo Joon said, “I found out about the news late last night. I have a project I am currently filming, so I learned about the articles belatedly. My initial thought was that I am receiving a lot of attention and I am grateful for it.”
He further added, “I feel a great burden when it comes to opening up about my private life, and it’s difficult for me to give any special comments as it is a personal matter.”
Meanwhile, “Concrete Utopia” is a disaster drama based on the popular webtoon “The Frightening Cohabitation” by Kim Sung-nyung. The movie is set to be released in August.
